Shuhada Islamic College (SIC) is an educational institute established on 09 June 2010, located in Puthanangadi,
Angadippuram, Malappuram district of Kerala. It is affiliated to Jamia Nuria Arabia, the institute for higher
Islamic Education of Kerala Sunni Muslims.
It is under the patronage of Puthanangadi Mahallu Committee to commemorate the great martyrs of Puthanangadi.
SIC, accredited by Jamia Nuria Arabia with A+ provides traditional Islamic education based on classic texts
(kitab) and on the completion of the course it awards the title "Shahidi".
To develop an Islamic educational framework in order to prepare religious scholars (‘Ulama) who acquire, practice and propagate Islam, who have all recognized university digree being alert of their ultimate responsibilities towards Almighty Allah and towards their own slaves, family, institution , society , surroundings and private and public resources and to make them capable of competing the shifting trends of modern education...
